Keir Starmer’s placed tackling anti-Semitism at the heart of his political strategy. In that context, the decision to stand by Azhar Ali is incomprehensible. The only rational explanation I can see is he genuinely is scared of the electoral impact of Gaza on Labour’s Muslim vote.
