The Eternal Triangle
Dominic Cummings has laid into Carrie Johnson again, this time in an interview with the Spectator.
Cummings claims the PM said his then-girlfriend-now-wife Carrie was driving him “crackers” and that he wanted to “find her a job with lots of foreign travel — could we get the Cabinet secretary to give her a job on COP26, traveling round with Kate Middleton.”
It's almost as though Cummings is jealous that Carrie won Boris's heart and attention over that of Cummings.
Eternal triangles rarely work in the long term!

The Man Who Would Be King
How the "mighty" have fallen!
Being so close to power, coupled with an obsessive hatred of Carrie, appears to have driven Dominic mad.

Genius Looking To Work For The Labour Party

This of course is a classic black ops sting.
Cummings has faked his split with Boris and staged a very public fight with the government, in order to make Labour think has has turned.
What better way to place a mole at the very top of Labour?

Dazzled By His Own Brilliance - The Damp Squid That is Dominic Cummings
Today the chattering classes and those in the Westminster bubble are having all their Christmasses in one ecstatic 4 hours; as Cummings gives vent to his personal vendetta against Westminster, Boris, Hancock and the civil service in front of a hearing of the Commons Health and Social Care and Science and Technology committees.
Meanwhile the country is looking forward to post lockdown life, and has already been informed about what went on in Cabinet on a regular basis by
-Cummings (via a 64 post tweet),
-Peston (the official spokesman of Cummings)
-and the rest of the MSM during the course of last year's leaks (presumably from Cummings).
Thus, aside from the breathless media, this will not be the shock and awe that Cummings and Gove had hoped for.
Meanwhile spare a thought for those in the media and in politics who up until now have totally despised Cummings, and have stated how many times that he is not to be trusted, as they now feed on every word he utters!

The question that the media haven't asked: given that their attention was focused on the front door, who was leaving by the back door?
I will be hugely amused to see the media's reaction when Cummings is given a peerage!

Media Wetting Themselves Over The Departure of Cummings - As Usual The Media Gets It Wrong!
The media are currently wetting themselves over the now formalised year end departure of Dominic Cummings.
Whilst this may be all very entertaining, if you are in the media or Westminster bubble, it rather ignores the elephant in the room.
His year end departure was known about, and reported on, back in May; eg as per The Metro:
"A source, who reportedly knows him well, told the Daily Mail he plans to step back from politics now Brexit has been achieved.
They said: ‘Dominic has not decided what to do. He will stay in his job if it seems worthwhile and [he] can improve things – otherwise he probably won’t.’
The Spectator magazine, where Mr Cummings used to work and where his wife is a commissioning editor, also reported that he could consider himself ‘largely redundant’ by Christmas if he has completed reforms of Whitehall. "
The resignation is merely formalising what was already the plan.
The question is, once he goes who will become the object of the media's frenzied hatred?
