Someone will be throwing her "husband" under the campervan in the coming days.

SNP Says It With Flowers

Yesterday SNP MSPs held a meeting to discuss Sturgeon's arrest.

Did the vote to censure her?

No!

Did they suspend her from the party?

No!

They voted to send her flowers!

It would seem that the SNP has its head so far up its own arse it has completely lost touch with reality.

Sturgeon Arrested

Nicola Sturgeon was arrested yesterday, and held for 7 hours before being released without charge.

She has issued a statement proclaiming her innocence.

Ironically, despite in the past not commenting on "live investigations, she has issued a statement proclaiming her innocence.

I understand that this statement may in fact be in contempt of court, the same as it would be to comment on someone's guilt.

Sturgeon's Husband Arrested

Peter Murrell the husband of former first minister Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested in connection with an investigation into Scottish National Party finances.

This no doubt a counted for her sudden resignation recently.

He should not worry too much, given that Scotland lets convicted child rapists off with community service, Murrell will probably be given an award if he he is charged and found guilty.

Alba

Alex Salmond has launched a new political party (Alba), with the alleged intention of helping create a "super majority" for independence.

Salmond claims that the party is no threat to the SNP (thanks to the peculiarities of the Scottish electoral system).

However, Sturgeon is less than happy and a number of SNP members have jumped ship.

Sturgeon's Curate's Egg - Victory and Defeat at The Same Sitting

Sturgeon has been found guilty of misleading the Scottish Parliament by the Holyrood Committee, and found not to have breached he ministerial code by the Hamilton report.

Thus, in the short term, she has got off the hook and (despite the efforts by the Scottish Tories) she will win the vote of no confidence.

That being said, there are now calls for a judge led inquiry; so she is not out the woods yet!

Sturgeon Misled Parliament

The fish rots from the head down.

It has been leaked that the committee investigating Sturgeon has found her guilty of misleading parliament.

Next week will be interesting, when it will be revealed if Sturgeon "knowingly" misled parliament!

Sturgeon is facing a separate inquiry into whether she breached the ministerial code.

James Hamilton, Ireland's former director of public prosecutions, is due to publish the findings of his investigation in the coming days.

Sturgeon's Puerile Behaviour

 Sturgeon has three main pastimes:

- hating the English

- forgetting conversations with her ex friend and ex political colleague Alex Salmond, and

- making puerile gestures

Yesterday she indulged herself by making the very puerile gesture of removing the Union flag from all government buildings (apart from Remembrance Day), and flying the EU flag instead. Somewhat ironic, given that Scotland isn't part of the EU!

Next week the game will change, when Salmond publicly reminds her and the rest of world what they talked about.
