Rishi Reshuffle Brings Cameron Back From The Wilderness
The Prime Minister has asked me to serve as his Foreign Secretary and I have gladly accepted.
— David Cameron (@David_Cameron) November 13, 2023
We are facing a daunting set of international challenges, including the war in Ukraine and the crisis in the Middle East. At this time of profound global change, it has rarely been more…
Sunak reshuffled Braverman out of the Home Office this morning, and replaced her with James Cleverly.
Then, in a surprising move, replaced Cleverly with David Cameron (who is no longer and MP), who will serve from the House of Lords.
The fact that Sunak has been forced to bring in someone who is not an MP, indicates that there is a dire shortage of talent and ability within the ranks of serving Tory MPs.

Sounds like an internal investigation is underway to me....
What a very foolish thing to have done!

#PissGate - People In Glass Houses
As British political establishment amuses itself with the #Pissgate scandal across the pond it should bear in mind that some within the British establishment have had/continue to have their own "idiosyncrasies" eg:
- rent boys
- drugs
- crapping on rent boys
- associating with known criminals
- hookers
- #PigGate etc etc
People in glass houses etc!

Cameron's Medieval Tendencies
Cameron has managed to cover himself in the sticky smelly stuff, as a result of his resignation honours list, described by Tim Farron as a list "so full of cronies it would embarrass a medieval court.”
One of the most controversial names on the peerages’ list was Laura Wyld, the head of Prime Minister’s Appointments, whose job at Downing Street involved helping nominate individuals for honours before they are vetted by Whitehall committees.
What was Cameron thinking?

Labour Leave Want Boris as PM
A vote for Leave is a vote against this Conservative government! https://t.co/MTIl1q6x3J pic.twitter.com/4wZb36AJnB— Labour Leave (@labourleave) June 15, 2016
The consequence of the "logic" of Labour Leave's argument coming to fruition is that Cameron and Osborne will go, and be replaced by Boris/Gove.
Is this really what they want?

Cameron's Money Shot Backfires
Using £10M of taxpayer funds to finance a pro EU mailshot to all and sundry explaining the joy of the EU may, at the time have seemed like a wizard idea, but methinks it has now backfired on Cameron and his pro EU acolytes.

Tories Do Labour a Solid
The Tories know that Labour have more or less committed electoral suicide by appointing Corbyn as leader.
As such, being big hearted and utterly selfless, the Tories have decided to do Labour a solid and self destruct by:
1 Totally screwing up the Budget.
2 Engineering the resignation of at least one senior cabinet minister.
3 Engage a public spat over the failings of the Prime Minister and his Chancellor.
