Labour Conference 2025: A Farage Fan Club in Red Ties!

Liverpool, September 30, 2025 – Welcome to the Labour Party Conference, where the agenda was supposed to be fixing Britain's woes. Instead? A non-stop Nigel Farage love-in. Delegates swapped NHS chats for Reform UK rants, turning Keir Starmer's big bash into a therapy session for Farage-phobes.

Starmer kicked off with a fiery vow: "The fight of our lives" against the hard-right surge led by you-know-who. Andy Burnham piled on, warning of "peril" from Reform's cheeky poll jumps, while Rachel Reeves' economic spiel got drowned out by anti-Farage whispers. Even fringe events? Pure Reform roasts, not policy plots.

If your conference is 100% about the opposition – and zero about governing – congrats, Labour: You've just handed Farage the mic. Cue the awkward applause and Mersey tumbleweeds.

The Great Disruptor

Nigel Farage is now the leader of Reform and the candidate for Clacton.

It is probable he will win Clacton, and possible some Reform candidates will win other seats. However, what is guaranteed is that his entry into the race will increase Labour's winning margin substantially.

Quite how Farage and Reform think that this is good for the country eludes me!

Advice To Farage

The timing of this election was not down to you, because you had no intention of ever standing here (given your lucrative job in the USA working for Trump).

General Election 4th of July

A sodden Rishi Sunak announced to the throng of media yesterday that there will be a general election on the 4th of July.

His decision has blind-sided almost everyone.

The media report that many Tory MPs are spitting blood over this, and cannot fathom the reason for calling the election now; they brand him as "selfish".

It should be noted of course that these are the very same MPs who have been planning on an Autumn general election, and had been planning on using the coming months for their summer holidays and for arranging for jobs outside parliament when they lose their seats.

Meanwhile Nigel Farage has announced that he won't be leading Reform, nor will he be standing. Seemingly the chance of a job in the Trump administration is too big an opportunity to turn down, so he will spend the summer campaigning for Trump.

Never Say Never

Fresh from his stint in the jungle, Nigel Farage teases the Tory Party by suggesting he might team up with Boris.

All very well and interesting, but neither of them are MPs!

Farage Sets His Sights On Tory Leadership

I hate to burst a fellow OA's bubble, but before becoming leader he has to be a Tory MP.

Farage Partially Stands Aside

Farage confirmed his Brexit candidates would not stand in the 317 seats won by the Tories at the last election.

However, he is publicly claiming that Brexit will stand in Labour seats, which will of course split the Tory vote and damage their chances of taking them from Labour.

Currently Farage is demanding that the Tories stand aside in these seats. Given that will clearly not happen, it is hoped that he will back down further and not stand in all Labour seats.

All Is Not Well In The House of Farage

Farage Bottles It and Leads From The Rear

Having threatened to field 500 BXP candidates in the general election (which will split the Tory vote and usher in Corbyn) Farage decided not to stand himself.

It is a tad unusual for a leader of an alleged political party to not stand for election.

So what's going on here?

1 Farage has stood for parliament 7 times, and lost on each occasion. He knows he has FA chance of being elected.

2 He wants to keep his radio show, standing will mean he would not be on air as much as his ego wants.

3 Splitting the Tory vote will ensure Corbyn wins and that Brexit never happens. This split esnures that Farage stays on the EU gravy train as an MEP, it also ensures he can continue to publicly call for the UK to leave the EU.

In short, Farage's "policy" is based on greed and ego.

The Ambassador's Cables - #CableGate

Sir Kim Darroch's secret cables to the Foreign Office, giving his views of the Trump administration, have been leaked en masse to a tabloid.

The contents of the cables are perfectly acceptable, as ambassadors are meant to report their views and opinions. However, what is not acceptable is the fact that these secret communications have leaked.

The questions are as follows:

1 Who leaked them?

2 Why are they leaked now?

3 What game is being played here?

The theories:

1 Trump leaked in order to remove Durroch and replace him with Farage.

2 A supporter of Farage in the FO leaked them, for the reason above.

3 Number 10 leaked them, in order to conduct a scorched earth policy and wreck any chances of the USA helping Britain with a fast track no deal Brexit trade agreement.

4 A foreign agency leaked them, just for fun.

5 Boris or an associate leaked them, in order to pave the way for Farage to be ambassador and seal an deal with the Brexit Party.

Anyone have any other theories?
