It seems that the entire parliamentary Tory Party is thinking of standing in the leadership contest, apart from Ken Clarke.
Which is really rather a pity I think!
Factoid: briefly (very briefly) encountered him many years ago in the Diplomat Hotel Stockholm. A thoroughly charming, unpretentious and courteous man!
