Reeves Ditches Growth In Favour of Inflation Busting Public Sector Pay Rises
Reeves has abandoned growth and has instead decided to spaff taxpayers' money up the wall on inflation busting public sector pay rises (eg juniors doctors have been offered 22%).
This largesse will be paid for by cuts in capital projects, increased taxes and 10 million pensioners losing their winter fuel benefit.
Remember folks, the public sector is not as hard done by as it likes to pretend. Public sector pensions are more generous that private sector ones; hence the public sector pension debt currently exceeds £2.6 Trillion!

Beaker To Spaff £11.6BN Up The Wall on Shite
Today Reeves will pretend to have found a £20BN block hole in the government finances, something that was known about and reported on before the election.
Disregarding her lie that she didn't know about it, she can fill it at the stroke of a pen.
Beaker is intending to spaff £11.6BN on overseas climate aid, money that is needed here and will instead be wasted abroad on the great climate scam. Reeves can stop him spaffing this money away.
Reeves can also save a fair bit by not giving the public sector an above inflation increase of 5.5% (do bare in mind that public sector pensions are far better than most private sector ones, and account for over £2.6 TRILLION in liabilities).
She of course won't do either of these things, and instead will burden the taxpayers with funding her largesse.

Rachel's Black Hole
Reeves is claiming to have found a £20BN black hole in the government finances.
All very headline grabbing, but she knows perfectly well that she has had access (as is the norm in an election year) to the books since February.
Therefore her "surprise" is either a lie, or she didn't understand the numbers when she looked at them months ago!

The Uncivil Service Shows Its True Colours
EXC: Civil Service forum sees vicious attacks on Liz Truss after she questioned their impartiality.
— Steven Edginton (@StevenEdginton) July 23, 2024
“F**k her”, “She’s either a psychopath or utter moron”, “She's a f*****g idiot”, "One of the dumbest people I've ever had the displeasure of working with"https://t.co/aVhO9e6CRB
Impartiality in the civil service went out of the window years ago.
It is to the shame of the Tories that they did nothing whilst in office to rein in the civil service, and defang it, whilst they had the opportunity!

Buckle Up - The Next Few Months Will Be "Bumpy"
Although Biden has stepped out of the race, he remains President until January 2025.
Given that this was not a decision he wanted to make, his mental faculties will decline rapidly as he realises his political career is over.
The world is in for a bumpy ride over the coming few months!

Macron Has Fucked France
Macron's decision to call an early general election has backfired massively:
- The RN will continue to gain popularity
- The Prime Minister has resigned (citing Macron's stupidity in calling the election)
- The leader of the left wants Arabic to become the official language of France.
France has become ungovernable!
For the geniuses who justified Macron’s move by the inevitability of censure motion over the budget, I have news for you: whatever current composition of a governing alliance around the center, the issue will emerge as it did before. Rien ne change. RN continues to rise…

Trouble Lies Ahead
Keir Starmer is today celebrating a landslide majority (as a result of people's fury with the Tories) of approximately 170 seats, the caveat being that this was achieved with a share of only 34% of the vote with the lowest turnout since 1945, and with Starmer polling minus 9 in personal popularity.
The honeymoon will be shortlived:
- people's expectations for change are high, but the difficulties facing Britain mean that Labour's hands are tied in terms of making any noticeable changes to people's lives in the next year or so.
- when Israel launches an all out assault on Hezbollah in the coming weeks, Labour's Gaza supporting left wing will go ape shit and Starmer will have to use all his energies to maintain the facade of unity.
All of this before Trump very likely becomes President, which will add to Starmer's woes!
In essence, Starmer will be confronted with real world issues that he can't flipflop or avoid!
