May To Stand Down In Summer To Stop Boris
An interesting theory is being proselytised in Westminster that Theresa May plans to step down in Summer in order to "influence" who becomes the next leader of the Conservatives, and specifically to prevent Boris Johnston from taking over.
The "rationale" being that she will be guiding the outcome from a "position of strength".
Well let's see how that pans out then!
A cynic might just suggest that she is trying to lull people into a false sense of security, wrt making them think that she intends to leave. Do remember that it is barely a week since rumours were abounding she was going to hold a general election in June!

There Be Idiots in Number 10
The worrying, ludicrous thing about Theresa May’s reply to Jeremy Corbyn’s Brexit plan is that it’s been given a “strict” embargo of 10.30 tonight - so it was given out to media this afternoon on the understanding we can’t publish it until 10.30pm.
