Calls for a government of national unity are very well and good, except:
1 The national unity governments of the 1930's failed and led to war.
2 The main political parties are at war with themselves.
3 The last government of national unity had Chamberlain has its leader, and failed.
We need a Churchill, not a school mistress or aged anti-semite leading us, thus ruling out the need for a third rate government of national unity.!
