Happy Valentine's Day From The Home Office

Gray Lady Down

Remember Sue Gray, the eagle-eyed investigator who ruffled feathers in Downing Street with her "Partygate" report?

Well, it seems she's switched sides and joined the Labour lot as their chief of staff. But before she could settle in with a cuppa and a biscuit, she's found herself embroiled in a fresh scandal!

Apparently, there was a leak from a Labour meeting about a potential U-turn on their green investment plan. Sue Gray, ever the terrier, launched an inquiry, and things got a bit, well, heavy-handed. Staffers claim their phones were inspected, interviews were conducted without union reps present, and tears were shed like rain on a British bank holiday. Sounds like a right ol' shambles, doesn't it?

Now, whispers are swirling like leaves in a November gale. Some say Gray overstepped her mark, acting like a Stasi officer instead of a friendly neighbourhood investigator. Others reckon the leak was a deliberate attempt to undermine Labour, and Gray's just doing her job.

But here's the real kicker: Gray herself was in the meeting where the leak originated! Talk about a conflict of interest bigger than Boris Johnson's hair! Some even reckon her own allies might be the culprits, passing on juicy info for a bit of political mischief.

Ali's Antisemitic Chums

Following on from yesterday's flip flop by Starmer the Indecisive over Ali The Anti-Semetic's speech on 31 October, it transpires that there may be at least one Labour MP who was in the room with him when he made the remarks (which are gradually coming to light).

In Labour it pays to be anti-Semitic and pro Palestinian, it's just that they are scared to admit it in public.

They should fear no longer, for their names will soon be made public.

SNP Has Mental Breakdown Over The Name of a Cafe

For reasons best known to itself the SNP membership is having a collective mental breakdown over the name of the cafe in Edinburgh Castle.

It is called the Redcoat Cafe, and has been called that for the last 20 years or so, in honour of the colour of the uniform of the Guards. The Nats are upset because the name is evoking memories of Culloden (a battle that happened in 1745).

As noted, the cafe is in fact named after the Guards, who have a museum in the castle. However, the Nats prefer to wallow in their own feculence and will not listen to reason.
